I Spent 4 Days in the Emergency Room — Here's What’s Next

Ever have one of those seasons where everything hits you all at once?
Yeah... that was me these past few weeks. 😅

First, work picked up big time. Then, surprise! I got summoned — and selected — for grand jury duty for the next four months (yes, months, not days).
And just when I thought I was finding my rhythm, life threw another curveball... I ended up in the hospital for four days.

Talk about "when it rains, it pours," right?

Needless to say, I had to hit pause and prioritize like never before. Parenting, wifing, working, healing — it all demanded my full attention. Some things had to wait. And honestly? That’s okay.

I'm learning (the hard way sometimes) that giving myself grace and patience is essential, especially when life refuses to stick to the plan.

Right now, I’m slowly catching up, taking care of my health (hello imaging, labs, and — lucky me — a colonoscopy 😅), and getting back into the swing of things.
Plus, I carved out time for my annual birthday refresh weekend — my favorite solo tradition where I check into a hotel, recharge, and do whatever my heart desires. 🥰

(Stay tuned — I’ll be dropping a full blog post soon with all the deets!)

I just wanted to pop into your inbox to say: I’m back.
I’ve missed connecting with you all, and I’m excited to make the most of 2025 — even if it’s starting out a little wilder than expected.

Tell me — how have you been holding up lately? Hit reply and let me know. I'd love to hear from you. 💬

More goodness coming your way soon!

Big hugs,
